Description
SEMAX
Semax is a heptapeptide. It was developed in Russia to treat stroke, optic nerve disease, peptic ulcer, boost the immune system, treat brain damage following insomnia, and other cognitive disorders. Semax is what’s called a synthetic heptapeptide. In other words, it’s a chain of seven distinct amino acids formed as a single molecule.
It’s an analog of adrenocorticotropic hormone 4-10 (ACTH) which is released by the pituitary glands in response to surrounding stress. However, while the natural ACTH 4-10 hormone is degraded to amino acids while in the blood stream, n-acetyl semax is broken down to a more stable intermediate peptide.
Semax is well known for its absence of hormonal effects and neurological effects. In the medical field Semax has been incredibly useful because of its neurogenic and neuroprotective properties.
Semax rapidly and efficiently activates serotogenic and dopaminergic brain systems. Also, n-acetyl semax amidate possesses both antidepressant and anxiolytic properties which allow it to qualify as a potential treatment for ADHD and depression.
Strangely, the exact mechanism of n-acetyl semax amidate is not yet fully understood, and yet Semax is viewed as much more secure and safe than other stimulants, such as Ritalin, Ephedrine, and Adderall.
While n-acetyl aemax amidate is recommended for treating various psychological and mental conditions, it is best at improving cognitive brain activities, such as learning skills, communication ability, enhanced memory,
and logical reasoning.
Semax can achieve its results since it is most active in the central nervous system where it handles some of the essential neurotransmitters such as acetylcholine, norepinephrine, dopamine, and serotonin.
After taking semax, the user begins to realize advantages such as reduced anxiety, mood enhancement, mental clarity, enhanced retention, better focus, faster recall, and enhanced verbal fluency.
Dosage:
The dosage for semax varies depending on the intended purpose.
Side effects:
The effects of semax are different for each user. There are no known symptoms of withdrawal, addiction. or adverse effects as a result of interactions with other medications. Semax is non-toxic and appears to be
safe. Semax also does not seem to have any effects on the body even after regular use and increased dosage.
